1. Deftones - Diamond Eyes

Deftones released Diamond Eyes in 2010, which in my opinion is their best offering since White Pony.  The album harkens back to their older records which are more guitar driven and heavier.  While I’m a big fan of all their albums it was great to see them get back to their roots.  Diamond Eyes is my top record of 2010!

2. The Gaslight Anthem - American Slang

The Gaslight Anthem had some big shoes to fill this year considering the praise they received for their previous effort, The ‘59 Sound.  Brian Fallon and the band proved that they are no flash in the pan and released American Slang which challenges their last record in terms of awesome tracks and a great rock/blues/soul sound.
