4. Linkin Park - A Thousand Suns

2010 marked the return of Linkin Park with the concept album A Thousand Suns.  The record deviates even further from their typical sound and varies greatly from hip hop to acoustic tracks.  The package as a whole flows smoothly front to back and it usually finds it’s way into my regular rotation.

5. Against Me! - White Crosses

Against Me! returned this year with their highly anticipated album White Crosses.  The album further moves them away from the punk genre and solidifies them as a rock band.  Regardless the album is great front to back and Tom Gabel and the boys do not disappoint.

6. The Black Keys - Brothers

6. The Black Keys - Brothers

Some are saying that 2010 was a breakout year for The Black Keys.  Many tracks on Brothers got a lot of radio airplay which can attest to their success this year.  Brothers is a great example of the duo coming into their own and really defining their sound.
